Back from Cikurai

Well a week ago i just hiked Mount Cikurai in Garut, West Java. It's steep. My legs ached for days.
Six of us started from Kampung Rambutan bus terminal in Jakarta at late of night. We took a night bus to Garut, a small town not far from Bandung and famous for its 'dodol' ( a sweet-brown cake).
That's Friday and we reached Garut at dawn of Saturday. Rested for awhile at a mosque near Guntur Terminal. Have breakfast of chicken porridge and yellow rice.
We took a public vehicle to Cilawu, and get off in front of gate to tea plantation of Dayeuh Manggung. Here we had to take ojeks to out starting point (Pemancar). The road was bad and it's killing my butt. I was so glad when finally reached the pemancar or television post.
Here we started hiking to the top. The track was steep, full of branches. Sometimes we had to climb over big tree which had fallen. We got rain too and soaked to the bone. Cold and tired, finally we reached the top around 4.30 pm.
In the morning we saw beautiful sunrise from the peak of Cikurai.
